Fees and Insurance

Psychotherapy Fee
My fee per 55-minute session is $210.

Forms of Payment Accepted
My preferred form of payment is Zelle.
I also accept Venmo, and check/cash for clients seeing me in person.
Credit cards: Clients who wish to pay by credit card can do so through Zelle or
Venmo.

Some notes about Zelle's features:
If your bank doesn't use Zelle, you can download the Zelle app and link your bank account that way.
Zelle offers an auto-payment feature for recurrent payments through select banks.

Zelle & Venmo both allow you to link a credit card (a fee may apply). You can avoid fees by paying with a linked bank account instead.
For more info, see

Insurance Plans Accepted
I am currently only in-network for Partnership Health Plan, aka Carelon (Medi-Cal).

What if I don't accept your insurance?
If you plan offers out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement for your sessions from your health insurance company. In some cases, this will significantly reduce your out of pocket expenses.

If you want to
anticipate your cost for out-of-network sessions prior to starting therapy, you can download this form to guide you step-by-step in collecting the needed information from your insurance. Or, I can have my medical biller call your insurance to collect the information on your behalf.
Totally confused about insurance?
Click here for an explanation about some of the basics, including examples that illustrate how much therapy costs when using health insurance benefits, whether in-network or out-of-network. You can also ask me.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
